Kate Sobel is the Founder of Noble Chemistry Academy and a credentialed Chemistry teacher in the state of California with over 18 years of teaching experience helping high school students succeed in Chemistry. Two years ago, she launched Noble Chemistry Academy to provide more focused, structured, and proactive support for Honors and AP Chemistry students who need more than traditional classroom instruction.

Throughout her career, Kate has worked with thousands of students at different skill levels — from those struggling with foundational concepts to high-achieving students aiming for top scores in competitive STEM pathways. She specializes in breaking down complex Chemistry topics into clear, step-by-step explanations that make difficult concepts easier to understand and apply.

Kate’s approach is built on one belief: students don’t struggle in Chemistry because they aren’t capable — they struggle because they aren’t always taught how to think through Chemistry the right way. Through structured guidance, consistent practice, and concept-focused learning, she helps students build confidence, improve performance, and stay ahead before small gaps turn into bigger challenges.
